The Challenge :  
The campaign was part of the Alan Shearer testimonial event. The only catalogue was the e-Catalogue featuring specially selected merchandise.   Generous donations from the proceeds were donated to the Alan Shearer Testimonial 2006 Charity Fund. 

The e-Catalogue built on an excellent track record where NUFC had seen online and Retail sales increase with each e-Catalogue campaign. It is not unusual for distribution of over 30,000 to be achieved.

The Solution:

  • 5 spread e-Catalogue featuring Alan Shearer's  record breaking (201) goal
  • Uniquely, fans were able to purchase the clip for their mobile phone - a World 1st for an e-Catalogue
  • Fully hosted solution giving customers option to 'download' or view online.
  • All products featured 'BUY' button deep linked to their individual product page

Launched 4 May 2006 - only 8 days before event. Email launch to NUFC database, website splash page on rotational basis, presence on www.nufc.com.
